Morton's The Steakhouse and Towson University will host a fundraising dinner at Morton’s The Steakhouse in Baltimore (300 South Charles Street) from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Monday, November 9, to celebrate the new Towson University basketball season and to support the Tiger Club, which raises funds for Towson University Athletics. An advance “pregame” cocktail and hors d’oeuvre reception begins at 5 p.m. in Morton’s private boardroom.
Towson University Head Men’s Basketball Coach Pat Kennedy welcomes special guests, including University of Maryland Head Men’s Basketball Coach Gary Williams and Coach Vince Angotti, former Towson Head Coach who is currently the basketball analyst for Towson University broadcasts on WBAL and WTMD Radio.
Towson University cheerleaders and the Towson Tiger greet guests on the sidewalk at the Morton’s entrance for this special event. Silent auction items include autographed sports memorabilia, golf packages, and more.
Guests can order from a special dinner menu or off the full a la carte Morton’s menu. In addition, guests are asked to make a suggested donation to the Tiger Club of $25 per person. Tickets for the advance “pre-game” VIP reception beginning at 5 p.m. cost $50/person and include cocktails and hors d’oeuvres.
The Tiger Club is the key booster organization behind the Towson Athletics program. Under the umbrella of the Towson University Foundation, Inc, funds raised by the Tiger Club go to provide unrestricted support for Tiger Athletics which enables the program to enhance the overall experience for its student-athletes.
