Beyond DarkCorners: Is two solo performances, Just as I am written by Terry Sidney and Waking Warrior written by Christopher Prince. It continues the work these two performance artists have been doing for the past 10 plus years. We are committed to creating work that deals with issues of balancing cultural identity, race, social politics and sexuality. We believe the silent inability to openly live your personal truth is directly connected to dysfunctional behavior and spiritual depression. This practice of denial seems to promote the degradation and suppression of some in the Black GBLT community making it difficult to live holistically. We want to encourage all to the step Beyond the DarkCorner that confines us and walk Beyond the DarkCorner ahead that frighten us.
