MOTORCYCLE RACES COCKEYSVILLE OPTIMIST CLUB The Cockeysville Optimist Club will be holding their annual fund raising Short Track Motorcycle Races at the Timonium State Fairgrounds starting on Friday, July 24, 2009. Racing will be held on the following three Friday evenings, 7/31, 8/7, 8/14. Racing will also be held on Wednesday , August 5, 2009 and August 12, 2009. Practice starts at 4:30 PM and racing begins at 7:00 PM. These races have funded the community activities of the Cockeysville Optimist for the past thirty-five years. The Baltimore County Trail Riders Club jointly sponsors the races. The races attract riders from age 6 to 60, pro riders also will be in attendance. Nearly 150 riders participate in these events. Riders and spectators are encouraged to attend for an exciting night of racing. Food and Beverage served. Timonium State Fairgrounds. Admission $10.00, Under 8 Free. Information www.bctra.com.
