BALTIMORE, Md. – April 3, 2008 - Greater Baltimore Medical Center’s Department of Otolaryngology is hosting an open house event for seniors, “Better Hearing Health … As We Age,” in recognition of Better Hearing and Speech Month, in May.
This event will take place on Tuesday, May 6, from 1:30-4:30 p.m., at GBMC’s Department of Otolaryngology, located at Physicians Pavilion North, 6535 North Charles Street, Suite 250. There will be three speaker presentations, which will begin at 2:00 p.m.
Speakers include: Dr. James Kelly, chairman, GBMC’s Department of Otolaryngology, who will speak about hearing health for seniors, Regina Presley, Au.D., CCC/A, senior cochlear implant audiologist, who will present “Cochlear Implants - The Right Choice for You” and Mei-Ling Chein, MA, CCC/A, staff audiologist, who will discuss hearing aids for seniors.
